The only conclusion I can come to is that for casual photography, these premium point and shoots are worth a look: not only do you get the optical (depth of field, etc) properties of full frame, but the entry cost is significantly lower; moreover, there’s almost zero depreciation.I have seen Contax T2's sell well over $800. It's impossible for me to think about spending that kind of money on a pocket camera. They must be damn good.
